Aulabook utilizes pywinrm to execute shell commands on the domain controller. In order to let Aulabook working properly, you need to enable the 'AD DS Snap-Ins and Command-Line Tools.' functionality on the domain controller. To do this, navigate to Server Manager, then select 'Add roles and functionalities.' Next, go to 'Features' and, under 'Remote Server Administration Tools > AD DS and AD LDS tools,' enable 'AD DS Snap-Ins and Command-Line Tools'.

The OU configuration
In the recommended installation model for Aulabook, the domain controller will have an organizational unit called 'Lab' within which there will be a group called 'LabUsers.' This setup allows running multiple instances of Aulabook with the same domain controller.
